This of course is just testing...and no it won't because this is for everyone to do. We need the help of not just a few users...but every user who wants to help. The fact is without user contributions, this cannot go forward.
The first pilot if you will is pick to air on Windows Live via soapbox...then we would move on to a Podcast type thing or even YouTube for examples.

Yes. That is right. we have a great amount of interest discussion and effort by a few dedicated Wikinewsies that are trying to jump start the Wiki News Network or WNN for the English Wikinews (aka Wikinews Video 2.0).
This is the first e-mail to be sent to this list and will be sent as updates are available.
Wikinews will air its first broadcast on "Windows Live", but a date for that pilot has not been set as the project is still in development.
To handle the interest and the videos we have set up a Wikinews 2.0 blog here: http://videowikinews.spaces.live.com/
At that link you can see the 19 second introduction video. This is only a test run and is not a final release.
Discussion on Wikinews is here: http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Video_Wikinews/2.0/Yap
