At one time in the history of Wikinews, we did "Ping" technorati when we finished an article. The ping link was on the talk page of the article. I searched a bit and found: http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Template:Ping

As for technocrati, I don't think they index us anymore. I think Amgine might have been working on something to make them love us again, I'm not really sure.
