Using CC-by 2.5 does require attribution to Wikinews, or the original authors. It requires a link to the license or the full text of the license. I'm not entirely sure it must say it is licensed under CC-by 2.5, but it probably does.

To mee to is not clear who should be cited as a author. Nowhere on wikinews it is stated tha tis is enought to cite Wikinews as author.
I belive that a full infomration should be given in every page or a link to an explanation page should be give in every page.
MediaWiki:Copyright should be change to include al the information needed or it shoul be changed to include a link to the explanation.

To make this very clear: Attribution must be given to Wikinews (as the source of the article, where a list of all original authors is retained) OR to all contributing authors (as the original authors.)
It would be useful if each language edition would check its translations, and say if they feel their copyright pages are set up correctly. We can work together with editions to get the project all together on the CC-by 2.5.
