I have put up a proposal for Earth Day adjacent meetups in in late April / early May for particular places in North America, and to use the great power of the CentralNotice banner to help achieve this:

Wikimedia NYC also has some spare funding for ecological wiki events, that expires this June, so we may be able to help support some local meetups in other places.
