Thanks Andrew.
What I most find missing here is a discussion of how we build bilateral +
multilateral support for projects, moving away from the centralized "WMF /
FDC / global council reviews + approves" approach. Which doesn't scale,
changes slowly in response to a changing world, and imposes language,
method, and focus bottlenecks.
That's not solely about sustainability or decision-making or *equity* but
about emphasizing and preserving our decentralized + distributed
strengths. Where do you see this in the given framework, does it also
strike you as important?

Hi all,
On recent WALRUS calls we have discussed Strategy 2030 recommendations.
The WMF strategy team have asked groups to rank the priorities ahead of the
upcoming November global conversations.
For WALRUS, I've drafted 4 recommendations below, which are also listed on
the meta page. We need to submit this by Monday, November 16 so your input
and feedback is appreciated.

This is also a good time to remind folks we have a chat space for WALRUS
on the new
chat.wmcloud.org server, where we can discuss this more:

Or, feel free to use the talk page on meta:
