I like this idea! We could take some great photos of the Denver Public Library, the Boulder Public, or Norlin.
Relatedly, how does everybody feel about having our next meet up on Saturday, October 26? My friend Andy might be able to make it then!
Cheers,
Gaurav

I'm starting to get some of the photos from Saturday's trip uploaded to
Commons. Any feedback as to either what processing might make them better
or where they might be useful would be quite welcome, I still have the
originals so can do whatever processing is needed. I'll be uploading more
over this next week.

Coming from Colorado Springs, Denver is easier for me than anywhere in northern Colorado. But I guess anywhere other than Co Spr or Pueblo is a significant drive for me anyway.

Hi everybody!
People are organising Wikipedia Takes [Place] around America this September to encourage people to take photographs for Wiki Loves Monuments (http://wikilovesmonuments.us/). Last year [1], we followed around a bunch of photographers and took pictures of buildings on the University of Colorado campus here in Boulder. Does anybody have ideas on what we could do this year?
I'd love an editathon to improve the article on the University of Colorado and noteworthy buildings, people and organisations on campus or associated with them, which we might be able to organise with Norlin Library. On the other hand, it'd be great to have an excuse to enjoy the cooler temperatures we'll hopefully have up here as summer turns into fall!
You can find out more about Wiki Takes America here, if you're interested in organising meet ups elsewhere in Colorado: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Takes_America
cheers,
Gaurav

[Pardon the cross-posts - and the English message] - Please forward as
well!
Hi everyone,
March is Women's History Month, and this will be the second year for
WikiWomen's History Month, an *international* collaborative event that
takes place offline at edit-a-thons and online through project focuses.
Events and projects focus on improving women's history coverage on any
language project. We have a page on English Wikipedia, like last year,
to gather all of the events:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiWomen%27s_History_Month
So far we have events in South America, Europe and the United States.
I hope you'll consider throwing an event in your town, village, or city
- or do a women's history focus for your WikiProject - large or small!
