I attended the Pan American Wikimedian meet (online) last night. One of the
things discussed was that there will be more scholarships available this
year for Wikimania than has been in the years past. Wikimania will be in
Montreal this year. I have not been to a Wikimania but I hear they are a
great gathering of wikimedians.
If anyone is interested, they should apply for a scholarship.

One of the things I had in mind was to see what, if any, topics/areas you
all would like for me to explore in the Berlin Conference.
We can also talk about specific activities we've been kicking around in our
minds (but were not sure about support/participation) as well as
representation at other events like Wikimania 2017 and beyond.
Perhaps we can conduct a virtual meetup over email?

Hello Colorado Wikimedians,
I just heard from Maria Cruz over at Wikimedia that they could not find me
a spot on the Learning Days pre-conference in Berlin. While I'm slightly
disappointed with that, I'll try and catch up on the proceedings of it from
the participants if/when I make it out to Berlin for the main conference.
Are we planning a meetup sometime in the near future?
Regards,
Abhay

Hello All,
Thank you all for this opportunity. A special thanks to Gaurav for setting
this up and seeing it through.
I have applied at the official page. Hopefully, the application gets
approved.
I hope to bring back lots of useful information that we can apply here. I
also hope to be more active in Wikimedia-US-CO.
Thanks again and Happy New Year!

Representation in such events will raise our profile and help grow
membership.
I can also do this but will defer to another candidate if needed.
Cheers,
Abhay

I could do it, but I really don't know if I'd be the best person.
Perhaps someone who's more active in organising actual events and
whatnot? Or who even knows who that would be...
