Fellow Wikipedians, "Better late than too late" is a common cause for late bloomers in any field or profession and hence its excellent that a "wikepedia Mumbai photography walk" is being organised. I used to wonder as to the lack of "Photographic material" on "Wikepedia Commons'" fro fellow Mumbaikars regarding "MUMBAI" one of the world's largest and most densely populated city's.In fact, when i started uploading photographs on "wikepedia commons' i used to feel embarrassed as being one of the rare uploaders on one of the World's most popular internet site.I have personally visited a lot of city's around the World and have always uploaded my photo's onto "Wikepedia commons" for future references and also for others.Every locality in Mumbai has its own historical significance and the same can be expressed in photographs.As they say "A photograph depicts a thousand words".
