Just in case our followers in other parts of the moment are interested, I'm writing to let you know that we submitted our grant report for the appropriation that we received from Wikimedia DC earlier this year. I believe that we fully executed the terms of the grant except that our report was delayed beyond 30 days, and I hope that Wikimedia DC will grant us the funds anyway.

Internally, the Cascadia Wikimedians board is discussing what our programs and budget will look like for the remainder of this year. We are interested in supporting activities at the University of Washington and the Oregon Health and Science University, and possibly others as well, but our resources for doing so at this time are limited in the absence of even part-time staffing. The Wikimedia Foundation so far is unwilling to grant us funding for staffing, so we are looking into external funding sources.
