There is considerable interest in San Francisco in having a joint event via video. Perhaps we can coordinate some of the sessions with NYC. I think it would be particularly fun to include NYC in the lightning talks.

Wikipedia Day is Friday, January 15, 2016. I wanted to find out who is interested in holding observances in our Cascadian bioregion. At a minimum, we should have some sort of meetups & perhaps a Wikicake. If there is interest, we could plan for something on the weekend days.

User:Pharos has indicated that the New York City event for Wikipedia Day will probably be an unconference format, with possible video links from other regions & international cities.

Some folks have talked about doing celebrations in two or more Cascadian cities on different days, so some can do a mini-road tour.

What are your thoughts & suggestions?
