This is reminder to vote in the 2017 Wikimedia Foundation elections before 14 May. Anyone who has ever made 300 Wikimedia edits and 20 edits in the last year is eligible to vote.

The election seats 3 of the 10 members of the Wikimedia Foundation board of trustees. The board oversees the work of the WMF executive director and also approves the annual budget of $80 million.

Again, there are 3 seats for these 8 candidates. As a matter of opinion, I think all the candidates are good and any election outcome will have benefits. However, I encourage all eligible voters to vote now and be aware that you have ongoing opportunities to talk with the board we all select and express your wishes and concerns.
