Lane, thank you for the reply!
I have found the printable materials from bookshelf (bookshelf.wikimedia.org) but would love to see about getting nicely printed versions.
I'll inquire and let everyone know what's up these days.

Hello Monika,
You asked about event handouts.
In the past the Wikimedia store would ship paper handouts on request for events. merchandise@wikimedia.org
Also Wiki Education sometimes did this for events at schools. Ryan McGrady ryan@wikiedu.org I have used this guide and a similar one for medicine. Editing Wikipedia articles on women's studies https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Editing_ Wikipedia_articles_on_women%27s_studies.pdf
Previously they have shipped these for free. I cannot say whether either organization is doing this now. Ask and see what they say.
yours,

Wanted to check in about participation in the UW-Bothell Editing as Activism events:
Editing_as_Activism
Please RSVP if you can attend! There will be food and drinks both days!
:)
If you can only attend one day, it would be especially great to have experienced editors at the Edit-a-thon on Wednesday at the Common Grounds Cafe. Parking is easy in the South Garage. I've included all parking details on our event page.
**Materials inquiry**
My supply of "Editing Wikipedia" pamphlets is very low. I've got about
five
pamphlets. Anyone have any to share? I would love to have a few to pass out.
Or ideas on where to get them quickly?
Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing (some of) you there.

Hey all, excited to see you soon!
Here are some day of details that might make it easier for you to find
us
and to park:
The Learn to Edit Purposefully workshop will be taking place on the 2nd floor of the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). The building is confusingly called the Sports and Recreation Complex on the campus map.
The
closet parking garage to this location is the North Parking Garage.
The Editing as Activism workshop will take place at the Common Grounds cafe area, which is called Commons Hall (UW2) on the campus map. It is
a
large common area with a cafe on the bottom floor of the building. The closest parking garage to this location is the South Parking Garage.
Both garages are paid parking. It is $3 for 3 hours and $6 for all day parking. The pay machines take card as well as cash.
To help, I've attached a map where I marked the different garages and places. Hopefully this helps!
I've also attached the flyer our Student Affairs marketing team made up for the event.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out! I am excited to meet you all.

I'm so glad to have Cascadia involved. I've created a Meetup page:

And added the link to the Black WikiHistory Month listing for February 2017
I look forward to seeing some of you there. Please feel free to advertise widely. Let me know if you have any questions.
