As for the WikiConference, I thought we were looking at 2016 for Seattle, and our (soon) board members in general seem cautious about adding a national conference to our 2015 agenda. We aleady have tentative 2015 plans to support a sizeable edit-a-thon at UW and possibly a significant outreach event at WSU. We might also want to support the community data science workshops in future rounds. Adding the hosting of Wikiconference USA to our 2015 plans would be very ambitious. I think 2016 is a realistic time for hosting Wikiconference USA here. Of course, Cascadians can volunteer individually to help with the Wikiconference in 2015, and we might want to help as a group, but I think it is realistic to say that we have only so much bandwidth and we need to use it and develop it wisely and sustainably (:
