I'd love to participate. I'm a consumer of OSM so far but I'd love to become more involved.
I have heard a number of people interested in having WikiConferece USA here in 2016 or 2017. If you'd like to take the lead on exploring how that would work, please do. It will be awhile before we make commitments but exploratory work now would be most welcome. I have some questions of my own about conferences in general that I'll probably discuss with WMF also.
If we wanted to host WCUSA at UW, I'd be happy to serve a faculty sponsor. I'm still quite new at UW so I'm not sure what is involved but this closely related to my research so I would be happy to help figure it out.
