I am looking into forming a Wikimedia Chapter for the
Western United States
and sub chapters for several western states. If this comes to fruit, I would
be willing to trade support for 2010 in toronto if Canada was willing to
support Reno or San Diego in 2011. To win over Wikimedia Australia, we could
offer to partially subsidize their airfare.
Even if the jury was impressed by that, it is extremely doubtful that
Wikimania would be held on the same continent two years in a row.
Sorry, but I don't think this would help "secure" a Wikimania in Tornoto.
