I archived some of the old stuff at Talk:Wikimedia http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Wikimedia_Canada/Archive_1 Canada and I made a new post about starting back up. This project has been inactive this past while (as far as I know) and I hope to get it running!

We're still early on in drafting the bylaws. I'm trying to solicit some help (legal help) in getting the bylaws drafted, which has taken longer and gotten less attention from me because I've been busy outside of Wikimedia projects.
We have at least 10 list members (I'm sure there are scores more, but I have personally chatted with 10 CDN people who are either on or newly subscribed to the list).
Thanks for archiving the Talk page; some of the conversations there are quite old.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please share them ... discussion is what will carry us forward to the incorp. stage.

I know nothing about law, but I made a little something in my user space at User:Greeves/WMC http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Greeves/WMC_bylaws bylaws. If a legal expert could look at it I would be grateful.
