Hello fellow Canucks...
I'm in the process of developing a short speaker's list to manage the daily requests that come in for skilled speakers on all things Wiki.
I think we have something on meta with this information, but in the interest of being current (and me being still kinda new) please feel free to send me, off-list, your subject-area interest, speaking background (if any) and your rough availability (flexible, only able to speak in city/region X etc).
Appreciate your help - looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello Mr. Walsh,
I shall be asking a few questions in elaborating the information in this email. would a member of the short speaker's list be performing public speaking? Regarding the sentence "off-list, your subject-area interest, speaking background (if any) and your rough availability (flexible, only able to speak in city/region X etc).", would you mind explain more on it? Just as an example, would that suggest a French-speaking historian in Toronto performing public speaking?
Regards,
Ktsquare

Thanks for asking! I should have mentioned that I'd very much like to hear from Francophone speakers as well. I fully expect that to come up in future requests.
Engagements might come up anywhere, but I'll probably make the details clear to those who have approached me directly, and I'll probably make an appeal on-list as well when those things come up.
Thanks!
