Hi all, This year the Great American Wiknic is scheduled "for weekend dates in July, with a focus on July 9-10": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiknic This activity just involves having a picnic in a park somewhere, and inviting people to bring food and talk about Wikipedia! It looks like the Boston area hasn't had a summer Wiknic in a couple of years, but in the past this event has been on in the Boston Common. Would people be interested in getting together on Sat July 9 or Sun 10? If you're not around that weekend, would a later weekend in July work? We haven't had a general meetup in a long time either, so it could also be a good time to catch up and talk about plans for editathons and events for the rest of the year, and ideas that we all have for what to do next.
