Hello wiki editors in Bangladesh,

I am writing to share news of Queering Wikipedia, an April 2019 conference in Austria for LGBT+ Wikipedia editors and people who edit LGBT topics. See the conference page here. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Queering_Wikipedia

At this three day conference about 70 people will convene to discuss how to manage coverage of LGBT+ topics in Wikipedia and also support LGBT editors.

This is a 3-day conference and the first wiki LGBT major event. If anyone in Bangladesh is interested in attending then I would like to support any applicants who themselves have some support from the local community to attend. Geographic diversity is a goal in awarding scholarships, so if anyone editing in Bangla has a history of LGBT editing or experience in LGBT advocacy, then I expect the scholarship committee would award at least one scholarship if anyone from Bangladesh applied.
