উইকিপিডিয়াতে বাংলাদেশের ঐতিহাসিক স্থান/ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থাপনা সংক্রান্ত
নিবন্ধগুলোর মান উন্নয়নের জন্য Colours of Bangladesh [1] নামের প্রকল্পটি
শুরু হতে যাচ্ছে। নির্দিষ্ট একটি তালিকার উপর ভিত্তি করে বাংলা এবং ইংরেজি
উইকিপিডিয়া এবং উইকিভ্রমনে সংস্লিষ্ট নিবন্ধগুলো আপডেট করা হবে, প্রয়োজনে
তৈরী করা হবে নতুন নিবন্ধ।[2] তালিকায় থাকা সকল নিবন্ধে ঐ নির্দিষ্ট স্থানের
ছবি সংযোজন (প্রয়োজনে ভালো মানের ছবি দিয়ে প্রতিস্থাপন) করা হবে। পাশাপাশি
নিবন্ধগুলো একটি নূন্যতম দৈর্ঘ্য পর্যন্ত বর্ধিত করা হবে।
এটি একটি দীর্ঘ মেয়াদি প্রকল্প, প্রকল্পের পরবর্তী ধাপগুলোতে বাংলাদেশের সাথে
সংস্লিষ্ট গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘটনা (যেমন বাংলা ভাষা আন্দোলন, স্বাধিনতা দিবস),
বিখ্যাত জীবিত ব্যক্তি (যেমন পদকপ্রাপ্ত মুক্তিযোদ্ধা, খেলোয়াড়, সংসদ সদস্য)
ছবি সংগ্রহের কাজগুলো যুক্ত করা হবে।
গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থানগুলোর তালিকা তৈরী, নতুন নিবন্ধ তৈরী, ছবি সংযোজনসহ প্রতিটি
কাজই সমন্বিতভাবে করা হবে, তাই সকলেরই সাহায্য প্রয়োজন।
প্রকল্পের কাজগুলো বেশ কয়েকটি ভাগে বিভক্ত যেমন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থানগুলোর
তালিকা তৈরী, উইকিপিডিয়া সম্পাদনা, বিষয় সংস্লিষ্ট ছবি সংযোজন ইত্যাদি।
কাজগুলো সফলভাবে সম্পাদনার জন্য সকলের সাহায্য প্রয়োজন। প্রকপ্লের এক বা
একাধিক অংশের সাথে কাজ করার সুযোগ রয়েছে, আগ্রহীরা প্রকপ্ল পাতার 'সদস্য' অংশে
নিজেদের নাম যুক্ত করতে পারেন। পাশাপাশি প্রকল্প সংক্রান্ত কোনো প্রশ্ন বা
মতামত থাকলে সেটিও জানাতে পারেন এখানে।

Hi Tanvir, that's an excellent idea. Banglalink has not yet sent me their
draft press release, so I will ask them to work with us to build the story.
Can I copy you on the email, or how should I proceed to coordinate with the
community there?

public announcement while they test the implementation in the public
market. I would appreciate it if we could please keep the news under
embargo until Banglalink makes their announcement. We don't want to

@safwan - that's very important news for me, thank you! We were set up and
testing with Grameenphone, but I didn't know they launched
zero.wikipedia.org publicly. I will reach out to Grameenphone.
