Hi guys,
I know this list is low-traffic, but I hope to get some discussion jumpstarted to get Wikimedia Asia moving again.
Anyway, I hope that in the course of the next year (or two), we can get the following started: * A Wikimedia Asia Charter similar to the statement of principles of the Wikimedia Brasil un-chapter * A Wikimedia Asia "Exchange Fund" which would fund the "exchange" of Asian Wikimedians within communities. So, for example, a Hong Kong Wikipedian can draw money against the fund to travel, let's say, to India, in order to meet Indian Wikipedians. * A continent-wide project, like an Asian version of Wiki Loves MonumentsThe Asian Wikimedia lunch during Wikimania 2011 was very productive, and hopefully we can get Wikimedia Asia moving again, with or without WMF funding.
Regards,
Josh
