Hi Morgan,
Count me in. I am from Wikimedia India, joined this egroup only yesterday. I suggest that we have a panel, something along the lines of -
http://wikimania2010.wikimedia.org/wiki/Submissions/Allow,_Invite,_Encourage.... We can focus on what is peculiar to Wikimedia Asia - it can range from the variety of scripts and languages to the internet speeds to Internet censoring; it can also deal with the literacy status and socio-economic status of most Wikimedians in Asia vis-a-vis most Asians. I could do the part on India and Bishakha should be able to work on it as well, so do let us know.
Cheers, Srinivas Gunta. "Gurubrahma" on all Wikimedia projects.

Hello everyone:
We still get one more day before the deadline of the submission. So if you have something to say, just say it.

Josh:
I still don't have time to figure out my travelling expenditure as my scholarship is rejected. But Jerry is sure that he can go.

Morgan,
Who exactly are going to Wikimania 2010? As far as I know, it's you (although Tango said here before that everyone else's applications from WMHK had been rejected), Jerry and myself. Some Indian and Israeli Wikipedians will probably be there, and there was one from Cambodia who applied for a scholarship.
If you're planning to file a Wikimania submission, I can help.

Dear all:
I would like to bring Wikimedia Asia to this year Wikimania in Poland. The plan is i am going to apply a submission of Wikimedia Asia.
As the deadline of the submission is 20/5, and we don't have lots of time. We must decide what we should bring to Poland and show to the world. We can choose between a presentation or a workshop, and what information we can present.
I had chosen the speakers, including me, Jerry (WMHK), Ting Chen (WMF) and Bishakha Datta (WMF) atm. I think we need one more representative to represent Asian chapters. If you think you can definitely make it to Poland, you can ask me for that. :-p
Please start the discussion now and then i can make it before 20/5.
