Dear All,
As you know we are working to have Wikimedia Nepal chapter recognized by
Wikimedia Foundation.
Recently we've completed two major tasks.
1. The By-laws is finalized by the extended meeting of Wikimedia Nepal.
2. New Committee for Wikimedia Nepal is formed.
In the new committee Wikimedians from various fields (Media &
Communication, IT, Open Source movement, social activities etc) are
included. The 9 member committee contains three ladies.

We are applying for recognition as National Chapter soon.
We need a big moral support from all chapters in this regard.

On last Friday, Hong Kong seventy-seventh Wikimedia meetup, the 3rd
Directory of Wikimedia Hong Kong was officially assembled and swore
in.

Dear all,
I took the lead of the "exchange" team of the WCA. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Chapters_Association/Journal/2013_…
This team aim to facilitate exchange of service (like website hosting, documentation template exchange, etc.) between chapters and chapters to be.
Even if this team has been created within the WCA, its scope is not restricted to chapters members of the association.
To help me is this task, I'm looking for a regional coordinator from the Asian Chapters mailing list.
The basic idea is that a chapters looking for anything can ask on the mailing list he like to use and in the language he prefer, like this the coordinator will just transmit to the rest of the Exchange team the request, and each other coordinator will assure the transfer to the other linguistic or thematic mailing list.
