Dear all,
The international team has released an official announcement of this year's Wiki Loves Earth. You can check it on the site — http://wikilovesearth.org/join-wle-2019/ — and on social media ( http://facebook.com/interwle/posts/2350176258586674; an Instagram post will be published a bit later).
If possible, please share these posts on the pages of your local contests.
Also, if you haven't done that yet, follow our social media accounts: * Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/interwle * Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wikilovesearth * Twitter: https://twitter.com/WikiLovesEarth * YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/wikilovesearthOrgofficial
We are glad that some countries have joined Wiki Loves Earth for the first time, making the geography of the participants more diverse. So far, those include Benin, Colombia, Guinea-Bissau, Malaysia, South Africa, and Tanzania.
There is still time to organize a local contest in your country! For that, check https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Earth_2019/Organize.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact wle-team@wikimedia.org.ua or write directly to me.
Best Regards, Anton Protsiuk Project Manager at Wikimedia Ukraine
Hello I am MERMOZE ADODO, national support manager Wiki Loves Earth 2019 first edition in Benin. I would like to know if we can not get funding before the start of the contest at Benin from June 1st, 2019, how are we going to proceed? We give up or do we proceed how? locally, we do not have partners who support us except for the French-language digital campus, which sometimes puts a training room at our disposal with regard to its agenda; Since the organization of the competition induces fees in the organization upstream and downstream of the competition I have already applied for funding but I do not know if it will be validated before the start of the competition in Benin from 1 June 2019 THANK YOU
