* more than* 19k of photos *were uploaded during this period,
* and* 2 more months* are ahead!
Tomorrow 17 more countries/regions start their local competitions, check

The 9th edition of Wiki Loves Earth is running! We have 30 countries and
regions onboard and the list is extending.
Are you lacking knowledge on how to promote your local contest? Do you have
any questions about how to structure your lists of nature monuments? We'll
organize a training for local WLE organizers and cover these questions:
*When:* May 16 at 1 pm (UTC), the event will last about 1,5 hours.
*Agenda:*

Dear all,
The international Wiki Loves Earth team is happy to share that the 9th
edition of the contest has started and already brought great results during
its first week!
Check out some numbers:
— *During* May-June+ (with different local dates, take note that their
timelines can be also close to these months as we are flexible about local
dates this year; some of the countries have their contests in July) the
biggest international photo contest devoted to nature heritage will take
place all around the world.
— *30 countries* and regions have joined WLE 2021 and the list

— *More than 4600 photos* of protected areas in 11 countries are already
submitted during WLE 2021.
