Do you need a CentralNotice for your country?

Hi all! I created https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Earth_2015/CentralNot… 1. Go to this page if you need a CentralNotice banner to be arranged. 2. Check if the text is right or add it if missing. (Think also about what you want as English text: the basic text or one of your own?) 3. Add in the section *Landing pages* the url of the landing page, which can be on wiki or your website. This is the page where all participants must go to first to learn about the contest/rules/etc. 4. Remove the yellow of the table when both the text(s) and the url are ready to be implemented. If you want your CentralNotice to be ready in time: have it ready as soon as possible! Thanks! Romaine

Hello guys, During the last weekend we finally received the decision from AffCom. So, now we are able to move forward with our new user group here in Brasil https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Affiliations_Committee/Resolutions/Wikimedi… Since that group is finally approved, we are moving forward with the WLE Brasil 2015 that will be organized as part of the user group activities. Hello all, In two weeks time Wiki Loves Earth will start. In the coming days I will start with updating the templates and more. If your country/area participated before and you like to do it the same, I do not expect much to change. For new countries/areas I will need more information and will try to reach you. Let's make a great contest to enrich Wikipedia & and more! Romaine

Wikimedia Switzerland

Dear all, I would give you the information that Wikimedia Switzerland will join the WLE 2015. I have already updated the list of the participants. There are several details to define and the list of objects to be completed but the board and the executive staff is informed. At the start we planned to do it in June, but after some internal decisions the final acceptance is for May. Please take care that Switzerland will join for the first time so I will ask more support. We would repeat the Wiki4Alps edition like done for Wiki Loves Monuments, so it means that we will use the traditional formula but with a specific interest for Alpine space (so more parks in the Alpine region and more objects connected with the Alps).
