The fix for this has now been deployed on http://wikidata-test-repo.wikimedia.de/wiki (login is demo/test) and could use some thorough testing before we deploy it on wikidata.org

They are supposed to solve the following issues: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49415 https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49386 and probably some more flaws not covered by the bug descriptions.
I am about to backport them to mwf6 so they can be deployed whenever possible.
We should also let volunteers/community know that they should not invest much time into fixing the frontend coordinate parser as it will be completely removed and replaced by the backend solution.
Any comments?

It does not make any sense to have the coordinate backports in wmf5. Others are fine if they affect functionality which is already available in wmf5.
