Hey Steffen and Andy,
Continuing what I started on Twitter here, as some more characters might be
helpful :)
It seems that both our projects (FLOW3 and Wikidata) are in a similar
situation. We are using Gerrit as CR tool, and TravisCI to run our tests.
And we both want to have Travis run tests for all patchsets submitted to
Gerrit, and then +1 or -1 on verified based on the build passing or
failing. To what extend have you gotten such a thing to work on your
project? Is there code available anywhere? If both projects can use the
same code for this, I'd be happy to contribute to what you already have.
Cheers

Hey everyone,
I have the feeling it would be good to make an official introduction.
Nilesh has been working on the Wikidata entity suggester. There is now
a team of students who are working on the entity suggester to get it
finished and ready for production as part of their bachelor project.
It would be good if you could work together and coordinate on the
public wikidata-tech list. I'm sure with you all working together we
can provide the Wikidata community with the great entity suggester
they are waiting for.
Virginia and co: Are you still having issues with the data import?
Maybe Nilesh can help you with that as a first good step.
Cheers

phpunit tests for Wikibase are currently failing with latest master, due to
a core change.
I have investigated this and have patches to fix:
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/95854/ (for core)
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/95855/ (depends on 95854)

Per note on project chat, the Wikidata irc channel is moving from
#wikimedia-wikidata to #wikidata
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Project_chat#Wikidata_IRC_channel
The gerrit irc bot is now reporting changes in the new #wikidata channel on
Freenode.
Any other irc bots (and humans!) should also move.

Well that took a little bit longer than I expected, but I've finally
finished indexing all of
Wikidata.org in Cirrus/Elasticsearch. It's currently enabled as the
secondary index, so
you can test it the usual way with srbackend parameters.
If things look good and people are satisfied with the results we can look
at making it
a primary index in the near future.
