Hi all,
Luca Belli with the Council of Europe is organizing an event in Brussels on protection of human rights online that may be of interest to Dimi, Karl, and maybe other folks on this list. Let me know if you would like to attend and I'll put you in contact with Luca.
Best, Yana

Hi Yana,
I hope you are doing well.
I am writing you because I am organising an event on “Protecting Human Rights Online: Prevention Rather Than Cure” that will take place on 10 December in Brussels and I think your colleagues in Brussels might be interested in attending the event. May I ask you to liaise with them?
FYI, two interactive multi-stakeholder debates will take place during the morning with the aim of identifying challenges to human right online and propose solutions, based on the Council of Europe Guide to Human Rights for Internet Users https://wcd.coe.int/ViewDoc.jsp?Ref=CM/Rec(2014)6&Language=lanEnglish&Ver=original&Site=CM&BackColorInternet=C3C3C3&BackColorIntranet=EDB021&BackColorLogged=F5D383 .
Furthermore an informal roundtable with selected civil society actors will take place from 14:30 to 16:00 to define together and foster a common strategy of implementation of the Guide http://www.coe.int/en/web/internet-users-rights/guide.
We would be glad to have the Wikimedia Foundation amongst the attendees both at the morning event and at the afternoon roundtable.
In attachment you will find the programme as well as the concept note of the event.
Thanks for your help and have a great day,
Luca
