r.
How do I check for that, and how do I fix it?

I don't know how to fix it, but just refresh this link a few times:

Yeah, Robert and I have found that two of the four search servers used for this search shard are out of sync. I don't know how to fix it, though, so I asked Robert and haven't heard back yet (I think he may be out to lunch now).

With some more help from Robert (thanks!), I restarted lsearchd on those servers, after which they synced themselves automatically. This took about 20 minutes. This whole thing should be fixed now.
Roan
Awesome, Thanks!
But now, though the count is not changing, I'm still seeing different ordering.

Hmm, yeah, I'm seeing that too. The timestamps on the result sets are the same, though. I'm gonna wait till the daily update runs tomorrow between 06:00 and 06:30 UTC, then see if the problem persists.

I'm still seeing the same behaviour. :-(

Very strange, the servers aren't out of sync AFAICT. Each reports the same timestamp.

Is there a tracking system for these such issues? Should I submit a bug?

I created an issue:
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32026
Any future comments I'll make to that issue.
Thanks for looking into this.
