Hi I just noticed "captchaid" and "captchaword" were removed from the "edit" api response some time ago ( https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/rSVN104064 ).
Are there no longer conditions where edits require captchas?
If not we'll gladly remove our apps edit captcha handling code :)

Disregard. I'm now seeing the captcha values on non-"test" wiki domains - I was testing against "test" wiki and it apparently doesn't care if you try to add urls to test pages :)

Captchas are disabled on testwiki since https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/171998/, as some sort of test of the perennial proposals to remove captchas everywhere.
