I'm needing to get how many times one article have been voted (not only the average of votes as the 'wkvoteart' does). Is there any way to get this information using the mediawiki api?

Voting is not part of MediaWiki core, but probably in some extension. Whichever API modules query votes are therefore also part of the extension, so you'd have to ask the extension maintainer.
