Over the next few days, 1.26wmf22 will be deployed to WMF wiks. We have a number of exciting new things coming in this deployment:
- The notifications flyout at the top right of every page has been split into two flyouts https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T108190. Notifications from Flow pages and from your user talk page https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T108760 are put in the "messages" flyout, whereas other notifications are put in the "alerts" flyout. This change was also announced earlier on the Wikitech Ambassadors https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-ambassadors/2015-September/001253.html list and on Tech News https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2015/37. Please give us feedback on this change on the Echo talk page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Sobaaiky57zs7py7. - Topic headers in Flow are now less tall and use a smaller font https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T108263. The mark as resolved (check mark) icon in these headers is now better aligned and is correctly positioned in right-to-left languages. - The warning shown when posting as an anonymous user has been redesigned https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T110086. - When writing or editing posts, the cancel button now actually deletes the text you wrote, https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T109365 and warns you before doing so https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T111115. - Editing existing Flow posts now uses https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T109000 the new editor system https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/220665/ introduced in wmf19 https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/ee/2015-August/001539.html. - The Topic namespace is now translated https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T110999 in Arabic.
