Over the next few days, 1.26wmf22 will be deployed to WMF wiks. We have a
number of exciting new things coming in this deployment:
- The notifications flyout at the top right of every page has been split
into two flyouts <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T108190>.
Notifications from Flow pages and from your user talk page
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T108760> are put in the "messages"
flyout, whereas other notifications are put in the "alerts" flyout. This
change was also announced earlier on the Wikitech Ambassadors
<https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-ambassadors/2015-September/001253.html>
list and on Tech News <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2015/37>.
Please give us feedback on this change on the Echo talk page
<https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Sobaaiky57zs7py7>.
- Topic headers in Flow are now less tall and use a smaller font
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T108263>. The mark as resolved (check
mark) icon in these headers is now better aligned and is correctly
positioned in right-to-left languages.
- The warning shown when posting as an anonymous user has been redesigned
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T110086>.
- When writing or editing posts, the cancel button now actually deletes
the text you wrote, <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T109365> and warns
you before doing so <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T111115>.
- Editing existing Flow posts now uses
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T109000> the new editor system
<https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/220665/> introduced in wmf19
<https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/ee/2015-August/001539.html>.
- The Topic namespace is now translated
<https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T110999> in Arabic.
