Hi all,
I've posted about this on the Wikitech Ambassadors mailing list, as well as
many local Village Pumps, but I wanted to share that as of now the
"GettingStarted" extension is on 28 Wikipedias other than English.[1][2]
We still have some cleanup work to do,[3] and definitely want to eventually
expand to all language versions of Wikipedia. There may also be some
non-Wikipedia projects which might find it useful.
A big thanks to any of you who help translate MediaWiki on
translatewiki.net.
:-) We'll be monitoring the rollout of the feature in the coming weeks and
will share our data analysis about use of the feature in non-English
Wikipedias.

2. The full list is: astwiki, bswiki, cawiki, dawiki, dewiki, elwiki,
eswiki, fawiki, frwiki, fowiki, glwiki, hewiki, huwiki, iswiki, itwiki,
kowiki, lbwiki, mkwiki, mlwiki, nlwiki, plwiki, ptwiki, ruwiki, simplewiki,
svwiki, viwiki, ukwiki, and zhwiki
3. Rendering of the UI in some longer translations could use work
especially. See
