FYI, thought folks might find this interesting -- there was a debut of a mini-documentary at Wikimania about Tec de Monterrey using Wikipedia in the classroom. It was very well done, and right after the talk, I helped the filmmaker get it from his MOV format onto Wikimedia Commons thanks to the new Schnittserver.

English and Spanish subtitles are available.

This is a great video, amazingly high production quality. Bravo!
I hope it’s okay if I go ahead and ask a sideline kind of question:
Is there a way to add the the links to the timed text transcripts from the video page on Wikimedia? I think the transcripts are a very valuable resource, but I only found them by searching through the HTML for a <track> tag. (Or perhaps I’m just missing the links?)

The timed text track can be edited at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/TimedText:Tec-de-monterrey-student-activi... . You can basically use normal wiki markup there.
The video player thing should have a button to select what language timed text track to use, and a link to edit them.

I think the question was if we can link the video in such a way that the selected subtitles would show automatically.

Right. I guess I wasn't totally awake when I was reading my email this morning.
