Hi everyone, Would it be nice to have a special price for video's made for Wiki Loves Monuments? We don't have an awful lot of user made video's and this might be a fun way to promote it. Maarten Ps. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wiki_loves_monuments.ogg is a nice first step :-)

Featured Video (EN-Wikipedia)

I think we are nearing the point where videos either need to spin off as its own process or Featured Sounds needs to go the way of commons and become Featured Media. We have had an influx of nominations as FSes lately that are a tad shaky as Sounds or Pictures but work very well as a whole video [1][2][3] (One of these is my own nomination). Downloading Youtube

Hi video people, Does anyone have any experience with downloading Youtube clips? Maybe using the Youtube Api? Would be nice to offer an automated tool to upload a Youtube clip to Commons. For example http://www.youtube.com/user/whitehouse contains quite some interesting (public domain) clips like https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/wiki/File:President_Obama_on… Maarten
