CIS-A2K, KIIT University and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences sign MoUs
KIIT University, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences and the Centre for Internet and Society's Access to Knowledge team (CIS-A2K) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoUs) for furthering Odia Wikipedia. Dr.Achyuta Samanta, Founder-Chairman of KIIT and KISS inaugurated both the collaborations formally. Dr. Sasmitarani Samanta, Registrar, KIIT and Surjya Kanta Mohanty, Chief Operating Officer, KISS signed the MoUs of KIIT and KISS respectively whereas T. Pavanaja, Subhashish Panigrahi and Muzammiluddin Syed, one member Nitika Tandon in Delhi and one Advisor Dr. Tejaswini Niranjana. I am happy to inform you all our two day long Bengali Wikipedia program
successfully end today. 53+ participate this two day event & all
participant student come from different district of Bangladesh. In this
two-day program we discuss about wikipedia run different types of
Wikimedia Bangladesh president Munir Hasan, Me & our another Sysop of
Bengali Wikipedia Nasir Khan jointly run this discussion & workshops. In
this program our another Sysop Nahid Sultan & our offline wikipedian Palash
Nondi help us to run the event. All participant got my written book about
Bengali Wikipedia. This book published last Ekushey Book Fair 2013 .

(February 16 & 17, 2014) Wikipedia program with Grameen Phone (A Telenor
concern). Grameen Phone is the largest telecommunication company based in
Bangladesh. Besides, in Bangladesh Grameen Phone & Banglalink (A Orascom
Telecom and VimpelCom Ltd concern) now provide zero.wikipedia.org &
m.wikipedia.org, which is completely free of cost.
