I spoke to the director of the John Hay Library at Brown University about the Wikipedia Year of Science 2016 https://wikiedu.org/yearofscience/ and the library has agreed to host one or more edit-a-thons during the year. I'm looking for volunteers to help organize, promote, and staff the events. Any New England Wikimedians able to help out? The library is open business hours on weekdays, but is also open Sunday afternoons.

This ties in with the Wikipedian in Residence https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedian_in_Residence/Ladd_Observatory that I mentioned in another note. We'll be working on history of science at Brown articles during the edit-a-thon.
