After the success of 5 Malayalam Wikiacademy this year, 3 more are planned for this month of October alone.
The 5th WikiAcademy was held at Kozhikode (Calicut) on Oct 10, 2010. http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Calicut_wikipedia_Academy_1 This Wikipedia workshop was attended by over 76 Wiki enthusiasts.

This will cover 6 of 14 districts of Kerala state. There are plans for Wiki Academies for the rest of the districts in the coming months. AFAIK, at least 3 more are in pipeline in November.
