To: wikimediaindia-l(a)lists.wikimedia.org
Hi,
Achal Prabhala had once casually but rightly asked , Are Malayalam
Wikipedians "on steroids" ? I think I will have to agree with his remarks
:)
After the success of 5 Malayalam Wikiacademy this year, 3 more are planned
for this month of October alone.
The 5th WikiAcademy was held at Kozhikode (Calicut) on Oct 10, 2010.
http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Calicut_wikipedia_Academy_1
This Wikipedia workshop was attended by over 76 Wiki enthusiasts.
The upcoming Wikiacademies on this month of October are
6) Kannur ( Oct 30, 2010)
http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kannur_wikipedia_Academy_1
Venue : S.S.A Hall, Municipal Higher Secondary School, Kannur.
7) Kottayam ( Oct 30, 2010)
http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kottayam_wikipedia_Academy_1
Venue : Baker Memorial HSS Kottayam Auditorium
8) Kasaragod ( Oct 31, 2010)
http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kasargod_wikipedia_Academy_1
Venue :District Resource centre IT@School Project Kasaragod (DRC
Kasaragod),Near
Govt Guest House Kasaragod
This will cover 6 of 14 districts of Kerala state. There are plans for Wiki
Academies for the rest of the districts in the coming months. AFAIK, at
least 3 more are in pipeline in November.
Hearty congratulations & Best wishes for all the Wikipedians behind this
hard work.

Thanks Belayet bhai and Suparna Roy,
It is a nice idea. But we must remember that Bangla wikipedia is not much rich like English wikipedia. So I recommend to link those wiki pages, which are rich and contain sufficient information. We can take another measure, if we get the list of Bangla wiki article, which will linked from e-Tatthyakosh, we can develop them as firs priority.
