Indian Linux Users Group, Chennai [ ILUGC ] is spreading awareness on Free/Open Source Software (F/OSS) in Chennai since January 1998.

Topic : Introduction to the D programming language Duration: 60 min. D is a rising compiled language that allows much of the flexibility of scripting languages, but can run at the speed of C or C++. I will introduce the creators of the language, give a high-level overview of its features, show some basic syntax and core concepts, and talk about current usage and successes. Most of the language and D libraries are open source and available on github.
D was just merged into GCC 9 and was used to build the world's fastest filesystem.
