The Wikipedia Library team has been building a "GLAM Glossary" to help Wikipedians who want to work with GLAMs to acclimatize to the language, terminology, and jargon in the field.
Knowing the right words to use, and what they mean, will lead to more effective outreach and partnerships.
We would love for more knowledgeable folks to add or suggest terms.

I think that a slightly more extensive description of terms is quite helpful. Just saying that MARC is machine-readable cataloging is probably not enough for most folks. ;-)
