Hello!
We have our next LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Call on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 16:00 UTC / 6pm CET (Time zone converterhttps://zonestamp.toolforge.org/1647964843). Christian Boulanger (Max Planck Institute) will kindly walk us through the legal theory graph projecthttps://www.lhlt.mpg.de/2514927/03-boulanger-legal-theory-graph. The project seeks to produce open citation data from (historical) German-language legal and sociological literature, which current tools/algorithms do not handle well due to limitations of modelling on English-language natural science scholarship and citation patterns. We also hope to gather feedback on the technical and legal implications of the mining and open-access storage of citation data. Input from community members who are familiar with copyright and related issues in citation data, would be greatly appreciated.
The call details are below. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you aren't able to attend, the meetings are recorded and meeting notes are available on Google Drivehttps://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdrive.google.com%2Fdrive%2Ffolders%2F1JwTulCABs0TkGQDVSnYbIYEb7bC-j4-n&data=04%7C01%7C%7C99d245120131480cabd308d9f1b23fba%7C085f983a0b694270b71d10695076bafe%7C1%7C0%7C637806571222506055%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000&sdata=mMrfnskBXPCaSOW7VYEj42SPoqjHmh3fui2Z%2BfEz6t0%3D&reserved=0.
