For some context here, this is a preliminary redesign of the Special:GettingStarted interface.[1] Our end goal is to add multiple task types, and give users a compelling diversity of ways to get started than is in the page now. We've found in our early data analysis of the workflow (click a task, edit the page, save) the biggest drop-off is between people who view GettingStarted and click an article, even in an exploratory way.
