Hi, can anyone think of a reason that this wouldn't generate an echo ping?

The signature and timestamp doesn't appear to be formatted correctly for diff parsing; look at the trailing UTC. My only theory :p

Hm. Is there an estimate of when the signature requirement for Echo pings will be removed?

Sadly those people don't use bugzilla for tracking, and some things are discussed at mw:Talk:Flow and acknowledged without being filed as bugs. Sorry, I am apparently thinking of another mailing list. Need a better mail program. There actually was a non-Flow bug for picking up pings in edit summaries, but I don't see it in the list of bugs I reported for some reason... Will find and give a bug # when I'm on another computer

The Core Features team uses both Bugzilla (e.g. https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69913#c3 is a comment from a Core Features team member just Friday) and Trello.
You can always file a Bugzilla bug. The team may then use other tools to schedule the work, but that doesn't mean the Bugzilla bug is somehow wrong.
(We expect this situation to be simplified when Phabricator starts being used for bug tracking. This migration is in progress.)

There are now browser tests in Echo. We could easily add some new test cases and explore improving it. On 24 Aug 2014 19:42, "Pine W" wiki.pine@gmail.com wrote:

Incremental improvements to Echo would be appreciated. Also, I hope that Flow is 100% compatible with Echo.
