Hi, Isaac. Wikimedia.or.ke is not operated by the Foundation, but generously hosted on our friend Manuel Schneider's private server. Therefore, it does not have the universal log-ins. Thanks for thinking of this, David! Do you have an exact date? Who owns the domain, technically? I seem to recall it was paid for by WMCH? But who is the registered owner? I'm looking into the possibility of having the WMF take ownership and just add it to the domains it maintains, so this group doesn't have to worry about this any more. I'll keep you posted. Registrant, Admin-C, Tech-C and Billing-C is David Mugo. The domain points to my (Master's SYSTEMS) nameservers which hold the domain's authoritative zone.

If that would have been possible I'd have done it through my company in the first place as I hold most of the European Wikimedia domain names. We have to go through David / Wikimedia Kenya as KENIC only accepts entities based in Kenya as contacts. Apart from that I strongly support chapters dealing with their domains on their own as far as they are capable of doing so. That's why I deal with most of that stuff. Managing domains through WMF is a pain in the neck and I have seen several domains being lost / stolen from WMF for various reasons.
