Hi, everyone.
I'm in Nairobi now, and I look forward to meeting all of you tomorrow at
Strathmore university at 14:30. Please try to be on time so we have time to
talk, because I have a 16:30 appointment at the University of Nairobi.
Please watch this page for all the details (Abbas, please clarify exact
venue for the group meetup):
http://wikimedia.or.ke/Visit_of_Asaf_Bartov_from_the_Wikimedia_Foundation#O…
*Even if you are only reading this list and have not been active so far, you
are welcome!*
Please note I am flying out of Kenya late on Thursday night / Friday
morning, so Thursday is my last day of meetings, and it will be spent in
Mombasa. So tomorrow and Wednesday are my only two remaining days in
Nairobi. If you can't make the group meetup, I am happy to meet with you at
or near my hotel in the city center, near the Jeevanjee garden.
Unfortunately, I can't get a local sim working on my phone, so contacting
me via e-mail would be best. Alternatively, you can try calling Abbas, and
he should either be with me or know how to reach those who are with me on
their local phones.
Cheers,
Asaf

Hi all,
So regarding the meetup with chapter members, last I spoke to strath, they were to get back after confirming the room we'll be using ie after the talk to Strathmore students on Tuesday. I'm sure there's one available. As for having it at comfort inn, it's possible for around 10 people at the restaurant in the hotels lobby. The only problem's that it'll probably be packed on weekdays.
I'll be available for UoN, Strathmore and iHub talks. Also possibly for Google.

I was to meet the FIT manager (Strathmore university) today regarding space for the chapter members meeting though he was out for a meeting. Hope everyone's cool with Strath as a venue for this. I'll confirm this tomorrow morning.
