Dear wonderful women,
Iberocoop along with other organizations in LatinAmerica is supporting the
#16days of activism promoted by UN.
The campaign starts tomorrow and we wanted to raise the voice regarding the
gender gap and Wikipedia and how having the story of women not visibilized
it's also violence.
Here is the video we have created for the campaign:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:16_d%C3%ADas_de_activismo_-_16_d%C3…
Please feel free to share it from tomorrow till 9th on your social media or
other channels!
Thanks and hope you like it!
Hugs!

*Hola, chicas!*
*First, sorry for using this list to share something I think it's amazing
and worth it <3*
*The Take Back The Tech campaign is coming! 16 Days of Actvism Against
Gender-Based Violence
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16_Days_of_Activism_against_Gender-based_Viol…>*
*This year theme is:*
*Review to Resist: Stories of the Movement to End Gender Violence*
For English speakers, please follow this link
<https://www.takebackthetech.net/current-campaign> about the last year
campaign to get an idea about how it works. I will share the english
campaign as soon I receive the text.
In Brazil, as I said at the Wikiwomen Camp, the number of deaths and the
rate of violence against brazilian black women increased, so I'm joining
forces with black feminists collectives to start the campaign at 20
November (Black Awareness Day in Brazil
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Awareness_Day>) for the 21 Days of
Activism.
I'm sharing this calling so we can team up and create great content at
Wikimedia and share amazing stories.

perspectiva?
Encuentra tu historia juntando antiguos carteles y panfletos, botones y

Hi there,
The Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative’s Anti-Harassment
Tools team is developing a new feature to allow users involved with dispute
resolution to understand the sequence of events between two users in order
to confidently make a decision about how to best resolve a user conduct
dispute.
It is important to hear from a broad range of people who are interested in
the design of the tool, so we hope you join the discussion.
You can read more about the Interactive Timeline here

Dear all!
We hope this email finds us very well! It seems incredible but WWC finished
three weeks ago! Hopefully we will meet you in Wikimania in a few weeks!
This time we would like to ask you to answer this survey
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfkP4NvY6Dj0Lrsuzy-jQ6EyxusmskUzuw…>.
It aims not only to give us feedback about the meeting, but also to analyze
your opinions, ideas, future projects, etc.
Feedback is important for two reasons:
1. In the first place, we believe that WWC was the first step of a long
road. Having your feedback will be very useful for future events :)
2. We want to continue working together! For this reason we are organizing
a Meetup in Wikimania, on Friday 11 at 18h, room 5. For this meeting the
survey is fundamental; we want to present main results in order to set up -
hopefully- a first draft agenda, goals etc. for us as a group.
For all this, we ask you to take 10 minutes to respond to the survey until
Tuesday, August 1.
We look forward to your cooperation!

Hello dear WikiWomen Camp participants,
Thank you again for an inspiring weekend in Mexico City. It was a privilege
to learn from old and new friends.
As mentioned during our Movement Strategy presentation, we are currently
funding Wikimedia affiliates (Chapter and user groups) to host strategy
salons/meet ups with local experts and (potential) partners. These meet ups
could be meals and/or in-person hang outs. I would love to be able to fund
meet-ups centered around feminism, intersectionality and how these themes
relates to the health and future of our movement.
If this interests you, please fill out this form
<https://docs.google.com/a/wikimedia.org/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScmTBRP50g4l1dkS-n…>
ASAP
as applications to receive this funding is due *THIS FRIDAY JULY 15, 2017*. The
funding process is quite simple and the form is easy to fill out. Even if
you don't have all the answers quite yet, I'd still encourage you to apply.
We will be happy to support you to sort out the final details.
I am cc'ing Sarah Malik here as she will be the contact person for any
follow up questions you may have.
Thanks all and best regards!

Hello, dear all new and old friends :)
I have a question -- mainly to the organizers -- that may have been
discussed somewhere, but I must have missed it: *Do we have to complete
reports as scholarship recipients for the WikiWomenCamp conference, and
where, in what format? *
For instance for Wikimania for already several years we have to write such
reports (example
<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Wikimania/Scholarships/Reports/2016>),
and I personally find it a particularly good way to share our impressions,
work done in advance and at place, relations established, ideas
conceived... and in the end of the day obtain a wider and more sustainable
outcome of the event. :)
One way or another, I will write such a piece for the annual report of our
user group, but in case there is an already created template, I'd love to
use it. :)
Bests (and wish you safe trip back home to those who are still in Mexico),
Vassia
