Currently, schools are part of departments, however departments can serve
better as being part of schools. If that's the case, what should schools be
part of?

As of early this morning (CEST), Special:Import has been enabled for meta
and wikibooks. That means we can import pages directly from those two
projects complete with change history. Since this feature is limited to
admins, I've added a page where import requests can be submitted
(Wikiversity:Import). I'd like to ask all other admins to monitor that page
and perform imports whenever possible. A short list of instructions for what
steps need to be take is included on the page.
With direct imports being possible, there should be no more copy-&-pasting
of pages from meta or wikibooks. The pages already "imported" that way
should be deleted and replaced with real imports. I've started on a few of
those already today. It's a little tedious but if we all work on it, it
shouldn't take too long. Let me know if you have any questions.
